This week was amazing! So many miracles! The church is true, people! The. Church. Is. True. So for starters, today we got to go to Alberta's famous national park, called Jasper. Okay. Words cannot describe the beauty of this place, so I am just going to post some pictures.

So yes. It's beautiful. Today was like a dream. So that is why you are receiving this email at this hour of the night.

Fun story from today:

We were finishing hiking one of the trails from today, and this woman approached us and asked if her friend Gabriella could hitch a ride with us back into town! It just so happened that we were heading that way, and we had an extra spot in the van, so we gave her a ride! In she came, and we began to talk with her about her crazy, adventurous life and her family, her hopes and dreams, and it was super awesome to get to know this woman! She was SO nice, too. The conversation eventually shifted into religious beliefs and then we were able to introduce her to the Book of Mormon and talk with her about Joseph Smith. Thank goodness for iPads too, because we even got to show her the restoration video! The spirit was STRONG, people. By the end of it, she said that she was really interested, and asked us for our contact information! YOU GUYS. The lord put us in her path today!! It was so so so cool. Also, just meeting her and talking with her really made me crave adventure. I want to hitch hike across Eastern Canada next year. Anyone want in? Mom, don't worry. I'll be smart. Plus, I go into stranger's homes every day out here! Is a stranger's car any different? ...hehe.

Anyway, Gabriella is the one sitting in front of me in this picture.

Ah, but isn't it cool how the Lord provides us with experiences that strengthen our testimonies? This week, we had so many testimony building experiences. Allow me to share another one:

Once upon a time, in a far far away city called Edmonton, there lived two sister missionaries. On a particularly average day, as they were leaving a supper appointment, they noticed some commotion on the street.  They looked to their right, and saw that a man who was riding his bike had been hit by a car and was laying on the ground! Because Sister Robinson wants to be a nurse and is all into that medical stuff, she proclaimed, "Oh no! That man doth seem to have fallen off of his bike thereof! How canst we help him?" People were standing around him, watching to see if he was okay. An ambulance pulled up, and it even looked like people were giving him CPR.

After a moment of suspenseful silence, she said, "There's nothing we can do for him. Well except for.... Perhaps we shall pray?" So there Sister Phillips and Sister Robinson stood, in the middle of a street, folding their arms in prayer. Sister Phillips offered the rendition, and when they both said "amen," they looked and saw the man arise from the ground! It was a miracle! They both stood there, awestruck, because the Lord had answered their humble prayer. The two of them just stared at each other, looked up to the sky and said, "Coincidence? I think not!"

Okay, well I hope you all know that the Lord does love you, and he is truly in the details of our lives! You are all amazing. Thank you for being who you are. Oh, and here's a cute quote I found that I want to share!

“The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache.”

Xoxoxoxo! Live long and prosper!
